Magnets and Print Ltd is based in Taranaki, and operates magnetsandprint.co.nz. We handle your personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect: When you place an order, request a quote or contact us, we may collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery addresses, order details, and any artwork or files you upload. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers and we do not store your card details. Our website also collects basic technical information through cookies, such as your IP address, browser type and how you use the site.

How we use it: To process and deliver your orders, prepare quotes and proofs, contact you about your order or enquiry, improve our website and services, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. We only send marketing emails if you have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with: Only the providers that help us run the business, and only what they need: Shopify (our online store platform), our payment providers, our couriers (NZ Couriers and Post Haste), the form and file-upload tools we use for quotes and artwork, and our accounting software (used for invoicing and keeping our financial records). We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information where the law requires it.

Where it is stored: Our website and some of the tools above store and process information on servers outside New Zealand. We take reasonable steps to make sure it is protected to a standard comparable to the Privacy Act 2020.

Information from others: If someone else gives us your details, for example a colleague ordering on your behalf, we will handle them in line with this policy.

How long we keep it: Only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including business records we are legally required to keep.

Your rights: You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Just contact us using the details below.

Complaints: Please contact us first. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

Changes: We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
